Getting There MASCOTS 2009 will be held at Imperial’s Department of Computing, which is located in the Huxley Building at 180 Queen’s Gate, South Kensington.

Getting to your Hotel If you have booked one of the three recommended hotels, or Beit Hall (see the MASCOTS Accommodation page), you should travel to Gloucester Road underground station and follow the instructions below:
Best Western (10-minute walk): Turn left out of the station and then immediately right onto Cromwell Road. Turn left onto Queen’s Gate, heading north, and walk approximately 500m; the hotel is on the left about 100m South of Hyde Park.
Rydges (2-minute walk): Turn left out of the station and head north on Gloucester Road, crossing over Cromwell Road. The hotel is immediately on the right.
Radisson: (2-minute walk) Turn left out of the station, cross over Cromwell Road at the pedestrian lights and then turn immediately right, staying on Cromwell Road. The hotel is about 100m on the left.
Beit Hall: (10-minute walk) Turn left out of the station and then immediately right onto Cromwell Road. Turn left onto Queen’s Gate, heading north, and walk approximately 400m. Then turn right into Prince Consort Road. Beit Hall is about 100m on the left.
Taxis—Quick Tip You can hail a black cab from almost anywhere, but look for ones with a lit orange light on top—this signals ‘unoccupied’! |
